grant's career goals bounce around from pilot to airport ambulance driver to car wash guy (i really wish he'd start narrowing his focus - college is only 13 years away).
last night we were talking about snow and skiing and he said, "i can't wait to go skiing again! but i'm not taking ski school." i told him that he needs to take ski school until he's around 10 years old because there are so many more things to learn. besides, how will he become a ski racer if he doesn't take lessons from the pros? "MOMMMM, i'm not going to be a ski racer. i'm going to be a baggage guy at the airport."

as for paige, she just told me she wants to be a princess. grant told her, "princesses aren't real, paige. they're just pretend." to which i replied, "actually, princesses are real, and you can be a princess if you want - you just need to marry a prince." paige: "oh, yeah, me marry pince."
