we have entered an exciting new chapter in our life as a family: organized sports. it's a chapter that will likely eat up every saturday and several of our weeknights for the next 16 years, until 6'1" paige goes off to play college volleyball (and cure cancer) at the same school where 6'4" grant is playing baseball and football (and publishing theses on shakespeare and molecular genetics). or something like that. no pressure, guys. :)
here's grant showing off the nichols #8, worn proudly for years by yours truly and later by my little bro, aka uncle jonny. grant's first AYSO soccer game is this coming saturday. as his team's coach, i'm looking to inspire greatness - and also for a cute red tshirt to wear on game days. do they even make those?
