grant on ice!

our wonderful nanny, laurel, just sent me this email (i edited it a bit for brevity). it made my day!

Hi Carrie,

We went to My Gym and Grant did the monkey bars all the way across by himself! He and his friend Thomas had fun. He always says he doesn't want to go - but he loves it. We actually skip from the car to My Gym. That is how excited we are to go, so don't believe his AM mumbling!!!

We had lunch at Ruby's and Grant wanted to play in the sand and on the slide so we did, and when they started ice skating (at the rink nearby) he said he wanted to. I was like are you sure, you mean you want to put on skates? And he said yes! It's amazing - he didn't want anything to do with it and all of sudden there he was on skates. He did three laps! We were not very exciting to watch but he was so cute. He has great balance. Those three laps took us about an hour!

Grant went right down for his nap, he was tired. He was so good today. That was a workout, I feel it!
