paige's survival swim testing hasn't really gone as planned.
two weeks ago, they walked her around the edge of the pool and pushed her in, fully clothed, completely unannounced. she was supposed to flip and float. instead, she just floated. instructor had to jump in and flip her.
so we repeated the test this past weekend. i'm not sure if this counts as a "pass" considering she floated over to the wall, grabbed it, then flipped on to her back to float! looks like cheating to me! still, i'm very proud of our little fish. she is such a natural in the water. greg can launch her way up in the air and she'll splash down, go way under water, and then bob back up and float on her back. it's amazing. they're already teaching her how to kick on her belly with her arms out!
