on the last day of 2009, we decided to prolong the holiday busy-ness and take the kids to breakfast in downtown LA, followed by a 3D underwater IMAX movie at the california science center, followed by lunch in the rose gardens/exposition park at USC. the kids loved walking the city streets and seeing where mommy used to work. hard to believe that was almost 2 years ago.
after naps, and though i have no photos to prove it, we joined the strickland clan at robin & chuck's house for some kid craziness, pizza and red velvet cupcakes washed down with champagne. we were in bed by 9:30. it was heaven. just a mellow time with older than old friends.
