we came home yesterday to find on our porch a bag of belated birthday party favors from beautiful 4-year-old sienna kingston. paige's head almost exploded as she opened the loot: disney princess pens, a disney princess notepad, and a disney princess necklace that opens to reveal lovely lavender "lip gloss." as i quickly learned, said lip gloss was much less a gloss than a sticky, opaque paste that only comes off with vigorous rubbing of a baby wipe. so worth it though - look at how gorgeous she looks. did she even get any on her lips?
worth noting: the large bandage on paige's head is from a high-speed run-in with the corner of our kitchen cabinets yesterday morning. she split the area above her eyebrow completely open. i think grant cried more than paige because
he was so sweetly concerned about his sister having to get stitches - thank goodness the cut was in the perfect spot for glue! so that's two kids glued up in 6 months. i'm half expecting the ER to report me to the authorities next time we visit, which - knowing us - won't be too far off.
