derek brauch (paige's alter ego) is still alive and strong. this very moment, she is in grant's room naming all of his monster trucks. one is russell martin and one is derek brauch. she's still working on the others. these days, when paige goes into derek brauch mode, she starts screaming and running crazily around the house and falling down very dramatically. very much like the real derek brauch after a night at shellback.
grant informed me the other day that he is no longer planning to marry his school friend, julia. i asked him why not? "well, she said it's easy to fall in love but not very easy to get married. so we're just going to stay in love and not get married." how very angelina & brad, no?
uncle jonny left this afternoon for a month-long trip to turkey, prague and germany. poor guy. 2 weeks will be spent in bonn, germany for an international biz course through his MBA program, and the rest will be spent backpacking around without a care in the world. good luck, jonny! you certainly deserve it. we love you!
