it's been a week since we returned from our whirlwind, 10-day boston/new hampshire trip and i'm just now finding time to catch up. we did a couple of days in boston, four days at a vacation rental house with friends up in conway, new hampshire, and then ended the trip in hanover, new hampshire for the weekend of greg's 15 year dartmouth college reunion. it was so great catching up with old friends, watching our kids bond with eachother, visiting greg's old college haunts, driving along wooded highways...and high-fiving eachother as the lakers took the world championship.
despite our exciting amphibious-vehicle tour of boston, the countless hours he spent playing tennis with friends on our rental house's (overgrown) tennis court, the tom sawyer experience he had out on the saco river with greg, the baseball he got to play out on the dartmouth baseball field, the crush he developed on 6-year-old nora...grant's favorite part of the trip was "taking off in the plane and landing in the plane." of course.
