elise - i do remember that phone at grandma's and loved that spot as well. remember her super old-school address/phone number book where you'd slide the little clear plastic tab down to the letter you wanted and then pushed the button and it opened to that letter? was magical to me.

so funny, because i remember this was my favorite spot at grandmas house!! similar phone too....remember the one at the counter in the kitchen?
