when i grow up...

yesterday we were driving by the car wash when grant said, "mom, when i grow up i'm gonna work at the car wash!" (a bit of a shift from his former career goal of airport ambulance driver.) "oh, that would be cool, grant. you'd be right around the corner from me and dad so we could see you everyday." "mom - what do you want to be when you grow up?" (so cute.) "um, well, grant, aren't i already grown up?" "no, i mean when you're the tallest of daddy. what do you want to be then? HEY! do you want to work at the car wash with me?!?!?" "ooh, that would be fun, wouldn't it? sure! i'll work at the car wash with you." "but...um...mom? where are we gonna get those special red shirts they wear?" :)
