lala: that's jesus.
grant: oh, i love jesus.
lala: do you want a necklace like this?
grant: yeah, but i want batman on mine.
and this morning...
me: good morning, grant! did you have a nice rest, my love?
grant: no.
me: no? why not?
grant: because i didn't dream about nothing.
me: oh, i'm sorry. what do you usually dream about?
grant: um...firetrucks and all those cool things.
me: well, maybe your brain was tired and needed a rest, so that's why it didn't dream.
grant: my belly was tired from eating so much food, so it didn't dream. but my legs weren't tired and they wanted to dream but they didn't.
