time and energy are in short supply these days! so i'll try to keep this woe-is-me tale short...
paige hasn't slept more than an hour or two straight for the past month+. i suspect it's her reflux so i'm finally bypassing our pediatrician and taking her in to see a GI next week. she also has an awful cold/cough that she picked up from grant, and she's teething. yet she is all smiles during the day! her personality is so incredible - we are so blessed. our physical therapy for her torticollis is going well although she still has very crooked days. we are now battling with our pediatrician/health insurance to get her a "helmet" to correct the slight asymmetry that's developed in her head, forehead and ears due to the torticollis. she needs to be wearing the helmet by the time she's 7 months old - so we have a very short window of opportunity and it's making me very nervous, especially with the thanksgiving holiday coming up. wish us luck!
grant came through his adenoidectomy surgery yesterday with flying colors! specifically, a green popsicle from our super sweet nurse. they told me he'd probably be groggy all day (i was so looking forward to a lazy day on the couch with him!) but no such luck! he was bouncing around the room as usual within an hour of discharge. our hope is that this surgery will relieve his sleep apnea, drooling, snoring and cold-catching.
greg left this morning for...buffalo i think? then onto phoenix and SF. i think. i can't keep track anymore! he continues to work way too much, and the few hours he gets to sleep at night have been spent out on the couch since i've had to bring paige into bed with me at night in order to get any amount of shut-eye.
moi? tired.
