congratulations to kirstin, dave & norah strickland who welcomed a new baby girl into the family today! mae katharine weighed in at 9 lbs. and was 21 inches long.
it's neat how many girls we have in the "raisins" family...
marina: 1 girl and another one on the way in december! she also has 2 sisters and 1 brother.
kate: 1 boy, 2 sisters
me: 1 girl, 1 boy, 1 brother
audrey: 2 girls
amy: 1 sister
kirstin: 2 girls, 2 sisters
robin: 1 girl, 1 sister
so between the 7 of us girls with our 10 kids and 10 siblings, only 4 are boys! that's only 14.8% boy - well below the 50% rate that you'd expect. (yes, i'm a nerd with a calculator.)
