last weekend, we took our 2nd annual trip to big bear with the kingstons and ellises. our kid count doubled since last year, but so did the fun quotient. and although enormous crowds meant that we didn't get to enjoy our much-anticipated german beer and wursts at the city's oktoberfest, we did have a great time at the moonridge zoo and local bowling alley. grant took to bowling right away - i think he bowled a better score than i did. but he had bumpers! no fair!
