first, the milestone: grant lost his first tooth on sunday. he was thrilled, especially when the tooth fairy brought him a "golden dollar" (his term for silver dollar). unfortunately, he's since misplaced said dollar...hopefully it'll turn up soon...
secondly, the classic paige quote. this was about a week before she gave up her babas. we were sitting in the kitchen, and i was telling her that she'd have to give her babas up someday, because wouldn't it be silly, when she's a mommy and she's feeding her own baby a baba, to be drinking a baba of her own!?! to which she replied, "no, mama, when i'm a mama feeding my baby i'll be drinking my wine."
