it was actually much less dramatic than it sounds. or maybe it was dramatic, but after 5.5 years of active mom duty this sort of stuff is barely a blip on my radar. we didn't even notice she was bleeding for about 5 minutes, and by then she had stopped crying. after a quick trip to urgent care (in sparkly flip flops and a tutu, of course) (her, not me) and a bit of miraculous bio-glue (my favorite thing in the entire world) she was all fixed up.
here she is modeling her purple chin this morning. it's purple because the glue is purple. paige says the glue is purple because it's princess kate glue. in case you were wondering.
