tonight before bed, grant told me that for his birthday (side note: christmas only 4 days past and already he's thinking up new gifts) he wants a football stadium that comes with 100 little people "who aren't in uniforms" (aka the fans) and has a field where the "justin beibers" can play the "usc trojans."
me: huh? the what?
grant: the justin biebers play usc. wait - mama - can the justin biebers play usc?
me: [after some serious puzzlement] ohhhhh...you mean the oregon state BEAVERS?
grant: yeah! yeah, the oregon state biebers. can they play usc?
me: the BEAVERS, not the biebers. justin bieber is a singer. yes, the beavers play usc sometimes.
grant: oh yeah. the beavers. i like justin bieber.
