halloween 2009 was a great one for the gilmers. we had a big bunch of friends over for pizza, playtime and pics before heading out for group trick or treating, complete with beer for the dads and "coffee" for the moms. paige caught right on ("tee-o-tee...ah-ooo...bye bye") and would actually complain when we had to skip houses to catch up with the rest of the group. the pure power of sugar is incredible. grant and walker ("the big kids") were about 5 houses ahead of us the entire time, which was both hilarious and terrifying.
here's a video of the "adults" (are we really?) trying to corral the little ones for a group photo. it was a lot like herding cats. the only reason grant actually stays put is that i bribed him with candy. once again, ladies and gentlemen: the pure power of sugar.
so you can spot 'em: paige is the hawaiian girl in the turtleneck (poor thing) and grant is the yellow transformer.
