doctor grant

grant is utterly fascinated with doctors, nurses and - to a greater degree - their accessories. face masks. those disposable cloth booties they wear over their shoes. and his obsession with latex gloves borders on fetishism. he loves looking at photos from when he and paige were born and the nurses were holding them with blue rubber gloves on. anyway.

lately he's been asking for a play medical kit. (note to self: go to toys r us already. if there's one interest we should nurture it's his desire to be a doctor.) last night he went to play at his friend kate's house. she has a medical kit (lucky!) and when i got there to pick him up he told me i'd have to "wait a second because i'm doing a blood draw on kate's iguana."

no joke. those words actually came out of his mouth.
